Hello! I'm Caitlin!

I am an Creative, vibrant and bold young lady. Owner and Founder of CDS Designs (Est. 2019).

I have Aspergers Syndrome and while that may give me the short hand when it comes to communication skills, I feel like my work does the talking for me. I am a single mom to two children, who are also on the spectrum, and that is where I get my edge, herein lives my drive, always striving for excellence and to be better today than I was yesterday, and tomorrow even better.

I have always had a passion for the smaller details that others seem to miss, In my head I create beauty in everyday mundane things that we as humans take for granted, so that other may experience what I see when I look at them.

Background

I have a Bachelor’s of Art Degree in Graphic Design. I also have a diploma in Graphic Design, along with two other Diplomas – Photography and Leadership and management. Besides my qualifications, I have more than eight years of real-world experience as a Graphic Designer and CV Revamp “artist”, if you will, where I have learnt how to read people, and learnt how to incorporate personality and style into their designs.

My Company

In 2019, I founded CDS Designs, a sub-division of The WMAD Group JHB and PTA. This business was opened in hopes that when I am not around anymore, I get to leave my children with a legacy, this is where I get to live out my artistic dreams, I design Logos, Adverts, Short video adverts, Social Media CVs, Business Plans / Profiles and much more. I have a full-time job and do this after hours.

Workflow Process

ONE

We’ll have detailed discussions to understand your visions, goals, deadlines, and objectives, ensuring no detail is missed and setting a solid foundation for our collaboration.

After the proposal is accepted and funds are received, we begin gathering essential brand information such as logos, colour palettes, fonts, and imagery to ensure our work aligns with your brand identity.

THREE

During the design phase, I’ll create multiple copyrighted iterations for your review, helping you explore styles and refine the design until it aligns perfectly with your vision.

FOUR

I will send the final drafts in multiple formats (PDF, PNG, JPEG) as a high-resolution zip file via email for optimal quality and compatibility.
